Aakriti Arora is based in New Delhi, India whose Privacy Policy as strict as any other privacy regulation, so your data is safe with us.

Realise that if you follow us on social media such Instagram or Facebook, they have their own policy on Data Protection that is beyond our reach. The Dt. Aakriti Arora’s community consists of loads of people all around the world joining in to relish in a nourishing lifestyle. When you join her community by Signing Up Our News Letter we ask;
- your name,
- your email address, Phone Number,
- we get to see your IP address when you sign up,
- and we get to see your social media account name and photo/avatar that you use on our socials
We might receive additional data that you send us voluntarily in a message through email, or contact form or on our socials. We don’t officially keep track of this data and we strongly advise you not to send personal medical information to us. We collect your data to welcome you as a community member, and to send you occasional exclusive recipes and information on plant-based living. We do so because you asked us to do this when you signed up for the newsletter. The legal basis is permission, and you can step out of the community at any time by using the signing off link in our emails.
We love receiving your emails, and most of the time we delete it directly after reading it. Sometimes we keep it for a few months to give us some time to respond or to memorise any ideas, requests, or recipes that you ask us to add to the community.
Any response that you give on our social media channels will remain posted until you delete it yourself, or the channel decides to archive or delete your messages. When we decide that a response is compromising in any way, we are free to delete that response.

We have a nice range of partners consisting of affiliate link parties, sponsors, and collaborators. From the partners we collect as much data as obliged for our administration and our legal and tax duties according to Indian Law. This data consists of names, addresses, company info, contact info, social media account names and photos, bank account numbers, pictures, audio, or any other footage or data we receive or make during the assignments. We collect this data so you can help us expand, enrich, and make the the community livelier. Legally this is called a contractual agreement. We will keep your business files for at least two years after you stopped being a Partner. The data that we need for our own tax administration will be kept for at least 8 years. The data and footage that is published within the community or online will remain for as long as the community lives.
Who has access to your information?
Her team members have access to data that we collect. We pass on your information to other parties when and to the extent that this is necessary for providing you our services. These parties are for instance:
- Wix.com, our website platform. Wix cooperates with third parties as they state in their own privacy policy (article 8) for service providers, law enforcement, and application developers. Wix respects the EU-US privacy shield conditions. For community members this may in rare cases reflect your name, email address, and IP address.
- Google Analytics as mentioned below,
- IT service providers parties that collect reviews, or supply hosting services,
- Partners that help us out with doing business such as delivery partners, pay-roll services (only for team members), administration office or payment module agencies and our affiliates;
With the third parties that receive personal data, we conclude data processing agreements.
Socials as third parties
We use social media channels to provide community info. Mainly YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. In order to see our social media on these channels, you have to accept their privacy policy. These channels collect a lot of your personal data on their behalf. Note that we are not responsible for such services. These channels do not return personal data to us. We are financially compensated by some channels because of the success and reach of our Community. You as a member financially support us by simply watching our footage, how cool is that.
Other third parties
We are also obliged to share customer information with government authorities in the case of suspicious situations. We will not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for profiling.
Where do we save your personal data?
We save your information in several databases, and we always use strict safety measures. Your information is saved within the India or is passed on to countries outside of the India, which ensures that your privacy remains protected in the best way possible as officially determined by the India. Some American parties are registered under the Privacy Shield which provides sufficient protection. Alternatively, we work with official Indian designed Model Contracts, which are specifically set up to safeguard your privacy.
We respect your rights
When it comes to your personal data, we respect your rights. You’re entitled to ask us to edit your details, delete them completely, or restrict their usage. Would you like to access your personal details (which mostly consist only of your name, email address, and a part of your IP address), or receive a copy? Just let us know by email or postcard if you like, we’ll return your message with the technical details that we have on you. Inform us when you object to the use of your information for marketing purposes or let us know that you feel your privacy weighs more heavily than our interests. We’ll review the situation in this case. Do you want us to transfer your information to another party? Although we may not have a lot of data on you, we will, of course, abide by this Indian Law obligation. Send us your request and we'll make it happen. We do want to make sure it’s really you. That’s why we can ask for additional information to establish your identity. We also do this when we receive unclear requests.
